In Demand Radio are proud to announce we are supporting RUN FOR THE 97 on Saturday 18th May 2024 at 09:30am

This year is the 10th annual run for the 97/5K which remembers the 97 people who lost their lives at the Hillsborough disaster and those who survived that fateful day.

There is also a 1-mile fun run which will start at approximately 10:30am once the main 5k runners have finished

The three official charity partners of Run For The 97 2024 are Jamie Carragher’s 23 Foundation, Liverpool Football Club’s official club charity the LFC Foundation, and Stanley Park junior parkrun and its two sister parkruns at The Mystery Park in Wavertree and Derby Park in Bootle.

The event rolls out on the last Saturday of the football season, so runners have the exclusive use of Stanley Park which sits right between Goodison Park and Anfield.
