Liverpool’s very own In Demand Radio and In Demand Decades are coming together this Christmas to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
The campaign is called Crackers for Christmas - and they’ve even recorded a Christmas song to support it!
The most effective way to make a difference this Christmas is by donating directly to the campaign.
Listeners and supporters can do so by visiting crackersforchristmas.com or by texting CRACKERS to 70480 to donate £5.
All proceeds go directly to Alder Hey Children’s Charity, supporting the hospital’s life-changing work for children and families across the region.
Alder Hey will care for over 35,000 children and young people this Christmas season, that’s over 1200 each and every day. Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to ensure that every single one of these children and their families still experience the magic of Christmas, whatever their situation. Whether that is providing toys and games to open on Christmas Day, or incredible decorations, festivities and celebrations throughout the whole festive season, there are even visits from Father Christmas! Every penny raised will help Alder Hey Children’s Charity to make Christmas magical for every child at Alder Hey, because if anybody deserves a special Christmas, its them.
To record the song, the whole team from both radio stations joined forces in the studio to create a fun, feel-good track that captures the spirit of the season — and it’s all for this incredible cause.

Crackers for Christmas will be officially released on 5th December, with pre-orders available from 17th November. The accompanying music video, filmed at Soundhouse Recording Studios, will premiere on 28th November. Search “Crackers For Christmas” on your favourite music platform!
