G-Bar has been an institution in Liverpool clubbing spanning 4 different decades since its launch in the 90’s!  It is Liverpools longest running After-Hours club. Originally launched as an after party for the famous now defunct nightclub Garlands before forging a strong brand name in its own right, renowned for its underground and continually evolving sound which has helped it bridge through multiple generations and evolutions of the club scene. The club regularly features globe trotting DJs and past names to appear include Weiss, Ferreck Dawn, Max Chapman, Prok | Fitch, Latmun, Leftwing & Kody, Mastiksoul, D Ramirez, Sam Devine, Lauren Lo Sung, Wade, Mihalis Safras, Smokin Jo, Tim Sheridan, Stefano Noferini & former legendary resident DJ’s Dave Whelan (Camelphat) & John Cotton to name but a few. Resident DJ Dave Bennett joined the club aged 18 in 2003 and he has remained there ever since. Dave’s Gbar BASSment Room DJ partner Andy Mac joined the venue 10 years ago with their partnership flourishing ever since. They can be seen every Saturday night into Sunday morning playing at the historical club (located on Eberle Street in Liverpool City Centre) with sets from midnight until 7 sometimes 8 in the morning! (And now live from 5am on in demand radio every single week). Both Dave & Andy can’t be pigeon holed into one genre and you can expect to hear sprinkles of all the different generations of Gbar which they have been a part of, traversing the entire house spectrum and beyond. From funky / disco house to electro & tech house, chunky tribal beats and all the way up to pumping Dutch house & Trance Classics.
